Abstract
This paper aims at giving an experimental support to the model of the multiple prominences in the analysis of the intonation contour, formulated in De Dominicis (2010). The main topic concerns the interfaces which link the various components of the grammar (syntax, prosody, pragmatics, etc.). A new notion of Intonational Nucleus is proposed, as a relation among constituents/prominences rather than as a given constituent/prominence.
