This essay analyses the writing of Indro Montanelli within the context of the writing style he considered best suited to his way of communicating: «La Stanza», a column tackling questions sent in by readers to «Il Corriere della Sera» newspaper. It analyses the main strategies of text structure and content components, as well as his brilliant writing style and lexicon, aimed at entering an informal and anti-rhetorical dialogue with the public
