Abstract

The main objective of the paper consists in showing that the concept of alienation is not an essential element for a critical theory. The author develops this argument through an analysis of Marx', Adorno's and Althusser's works. In this context, he criticizes Hartmut Rosa's critical recovery of the concept of alienation.
