Abstract

The aim of this text is to show how the greatest weakness of the modern institution of labor has been to have removed the question of social reproduction as a political issue. Bringing this removal to light implies focusing on two issues: on the one hand, the profound changes that have occurred in modes of production with the predominance of neoliberal policies, with the valorization of activities characterized by the full availability of time, associated rather with care and reproduction than work; on the other hand, the possibility of strengthening in a collectively oppositional and conflictual sense the decisive role assumed by this sphere today. The feminist point of view is decisive in this direction, in the attempt to define the political force of a domain otherwise neutralized
