Abstract

«Das Buch gegen Tod» by Elias Canetti summarizes, also in relation to «Mass und Macht», the long work of the writer/essayist, focused on the motif of thecentrality of death in all the events that characterized the history of humanity. This contribution aims to underline how this attention is decisive, once followed in its various articulations, for a better understanding of the work of Canetti as a whole.
