Abstract

Adriano Fabris’ book, Etica delle nuove tecnologie, has recently been republished. In the nine years since its first publication, information and communication technologies have evolved and transformed our habitat into what the scientific literature calls the «infosphere». In this article, I will address the novel characteristics that Fabris attributed to the «new technologies» in 2012, in order to ask whether his theses are still useful in our interpretation of the contemporary world. At the end of my reconstruction, I will propose a further step to Fabris’ arguments, inspired by intergenerational ethics
