Abstract

This essay proposes a reading of the evolutions which characterized the historiography of contemporary France of the last thirty years. The fields of the social, of the politics and of the religious then entered competition and quarrelled the hegemony of the historic discipline. These mutual wills of autonomy allowed an important renewal of their approaches. It would be advisable then to retie with the initial project of the fathers founders of the historic discipline in France. The writing of a social history of politics and of religious would allow to open up territories and to propose a work in the interfaces which presents a value fertile heuristics for the understanding of the contemporary societies.
