Abstract

This paper describes the professional career of Giuseppe Satta (1866-19XX), who, starting as a simple employee of the Ministry of Justice, was able to reach the highest hierarchical positions in the Ministry. During his work, he met several key figures of the history of the Italian legal system and collaborating with them, he contributed to the legislative and administrative organization of the Ministry in the years preceding the advent of Fascism. The article is based on the analysis of the personal files of Satta stored at the Central State Archive.
