Abstract
The historical Archive of Italian Senate takes part in the International Council on Archives (ICA) 2022 Conference, which will be held in Rome, with the first results of decree of the President of the Senate dated 22 July 2020. Since one of the objectives of the ICA is «bridging the democracy gap», the abolition of internal secrecy for the documents collected by parliamentary committees of inquiry can give impetus to the right to knowledge.
