Abstract

The Parliament has undertaken to support cultural institutions, considering their assets: ie. books, archives, and documents, research activities, relationships with Italian and international academic institutions. The 1981 criteria, further defined in 1996, are likely to be insufficient to enable either selection of fundable projects and/or the amount of funding. It’s necessary to redefine the funding criteria and create a more effective dialogue between Government and Parliament
