Abstract

Over the past 60 years, African countries have transitioned in key dimensions of sustainability namely political, agro-ecological, socio-cultural and economic. Majority of these transitions inhibits the growth and development expectations of Africans. These clearly depicts that «conventional» approach to the development of Africa has failed. It’s time to put communities at the heart of Africa’s future well-being and development.
