Abstract

Agriculture must face great challenges. The varietal innovation sustained by new «omics» technologies is fundamental. Advanced genomics applications such as Genome Editing and TILLING can provide a crucial contribution to accelerate the creation of different crops able to face climate change and diseases resistant. A challenge that ALSIA, with its Research Centre, is contributing to fight with expertises and technologies that offer important prospects for southern agriculture.
