Abstract

Every year the Heads of State of the world's most industrialized countries meet to discuss the great themes concerning today's world. Every year these meetings are hosted by a country that has to prepare all that is required to make the meeting profitable. The meeting is only a few days long but the work schedule lasts one whole year. The two authors discuss the last meeting in Toyako, describing it from the inside and mention some of the topics that will be discussed during the next G8 that will be held in Italy, at La Maddalena.
