Abstract

The risk of an environmental catastrophe that neither the market nor high-tech mysticism seem able to avert, groups and movements that try to rouse consciences with direct and unconventional actions, such as blocking five bridges over the Thames with songs and dances, and performing on the Calatrava bridge in Venice during the recent G20 (2021). The young activists of Exinction Rebellion and Volt know what is at stake. These are the short-circuits of the ecological transition aimed to prevent the «Sixth Extinction».
