Abstract

This article is an attempt to apply the Foucauldian reflections about the technologies of the self within the field of futures studies. In particular, starting from a research about young entrepreneurs, this essay tries to understand how young people practice the technologies of the self in order to transform themselves projecting into the future. To this aim, we present a single interview as an emblematic case of how a young individual performs an autopoietic experience, in order to discuss also if it could be presented in terms of a process of ethical self-government.
