Abstract

Going through the works and the developments of the researching interests of the Torinese mythologist and essayist, it will be possible to recognize the different periods of maturity of the essay writing and that of the narrator as well. Where the activity of searching, essayist writing and literary experience meet, it is possible to recognize the specificity of Jesi's production: genre's interferences put the Piedmontese in an original place of coexisting suggestions which come from the activity of studying the myth, the German literature, Cesare Pavese (and the relations of the Langhe writer with the German expressionist production), the political militant and, finally, the fantastic telling.
