Abstract

The so-called 'net generation' uses the Internet extensively. According to recent data, the digital divide has substantially exceeded in the new generations, In addition, there was a wide spread of computers and smartphones that can connect to the Internet. This has led to almost all students to have access to the web. However, the competence and the uses of the Internet still vary in a predictable way according to gender and type of school attended. This paper focuses on online activities that are carried out by young students.
